Description

M92 is a globular cluster in the constellation of Hercules.  It has an apparent magnitude of 6.2 (quite bright which means it can be seen by the naked eye to observers). This cluster is on of the brightest in the Milky Way Galaxy. It sits about 27,000 light years away from earth. It has roughly 330,000 stars packed within a 109 light year diameter. It is believed to be quite old, and is metal poor which is typical of these older globular clusters.
