Description

Cygnus Region is one of the most interesting parts of the Milky Way in the northern hemisphere that accompanies us in spring, the whole summer and even autumn and can be recognized by its red flame of h-alpha nebulosity visible in the pictures. This image was taken during my night shooting on the island of La Palma. It shows Cygnus Region rising from the northeastern corner in the early morning hours in spring. When the night goes on this part of the Milky turns out to be almost overhead and can be a good target for some deep space as well as wide angle photography.
