Description

NGC 281, the Pacman Nebula, an emission nebula in approx. 9,500 light years from the Earth removed, in the constellation Kassiopeia. In NGC 281 is the open star cluster IC 1590 embedded, the stars of which are scattered around the center of the nebula and some of them emerge from their X-rays. The brightest member from IC 1590, the multiple star system BD + 55 ° 191 (HD 5005), is the ionizing one Source of the fog. The fog also contains several Bok globules that you can go through zoom in on the recording.
