Description

It was a beautiful clear May night in Colorado for this total lunar eclipse. The partial phase started at 20:28 and totality at 21:29. Totality ended at 22:54 and the return to a fully illuminated disk was at 23:55. Such a rare opportunity to experience a lunar eclipse at a convenient time and with relatively warm temperatures! I used my trusty Canon 6D, Canon 100-400 zoom, and 2X teleconverter (800mm focal length) on a tripod. Exposure parameters were f/11, ISO 1600, and 2 sec. This is a single image post-processed in Photoshop using the StarXTerminator and Topaz DeNoise AI plugins.
