Description

The Pelican Nebula (IC 5067 and IC 5070) is an emitting nebula located about 2000 light years from Earth in the constellation Cygnus1. It is very extensive in the sky, about 2.5 times the diameter of the Moon.

The North American Nebula, cataloged NGC 7000, is an emission nebula located at approximately 1,890 a.l in the constellation Cygnus, near Alpha Cygni. She has a size of approximately 48.9 a.l

The shape of the nebula is reminiscent of North America, hence its name.
