Description

These two Astrobin Debut Objects are NGC galaxies located 0.4 billion light years away in the constellation of Pegasus at a declination of +3 degrees.  They are both Milky Way sized at about 110,00 light years in diameter.

Aside from obscure PGC designations, little information is available for the other galaxies in the image.

The galaxy structures here are fascinating.  Both NGC galaxies are barlense lenticular galaxies.  Several of the other galaxies are edge-on, one with bright star clouds throughout.

More distant galaxies are also seen, up to about 2 billion light years away.
