@Starman609 and decided to give it a go. Honestly I'm not all that pleased with it but it does look pretty cool. It was a very difficult object at my latitude! barely clears my observatory walls and with a 12" scope down in that muck it really doesn't help matters. At any rate it was a fun object to capture and I'm glad Eddie turned me on to it! Thanks buddy!
I started the data collection in NB on 8/30/23 and finally got the RGB data for star color finished up on the 8th, but because of my late parents estate sale I finally had time to get this finished up. I know it’s not top notch but I do hope you like this one as it is a cool planetary to image. The one thing I will draw to your attention is when I was processing the NB starless layer I noticed a cool little blotch at the 9 O'clock position. It reminded me as if someone was blowing a kiss in the winter time. I also like the wide field version just because of the beautiful globular cluster NGC 6712 in the bottom right hand corner of the image.
