Description

M 2-55 is an rarely-imaged planetary nebula in the constellation Cepheus.  The definitive image on Astrobin is by Peter Goodhew with over 100h.  Peter's image shows the remarkable bow wave.

Here I worked on making the maximum from my poor skys and just used the narrowband images.  I am slowly getting better at using GHS to highlight the dim areas of the nebula.  I need to spend more time of the theory of stretching.  Could not see the bow wave....

The final image had a touch of 3D-LUT added to help separate the colors... there is a Cleaner Colors LUT.  Original colors were spectro-calibrated.
