Description

New member with my first ever post.
Comet C/2023 P1 Nishimura rose just in time above powers lines and hedges before dawn. I first shot test exposures to bring the stars into focus and align the position to where to expect the comet, while waiting for the comet to rise above the powerlines. One of those shots I used in post processing for the foreground . The foreground was exposed at 4.39 h CET and the comet was photographed between 4.59 h and  5.45 h AM CET on September 7th 2023. Since I was seated next to a busy road and a river, fog, car, moped and bicycle headlights as wel as airplane contrails are all  "incorporated" in this picture. City light pollution: Bortle 6
