Description

81 frames of 300 seconds each taken on July 18 and 19 in Forca Canapine, Italy. The dark and clear sky made it possible not to use any filters.
The images were taken with an Askar FRA600/5.6 on a ZWO AM5 mount. The imaging camera is ASI2600MC and the guide camera in OAG-L is ASI220mini, the focuser is EAF. The driving computer is ASIair Plus.
Processing was done entirely in Pixinsight, with a classic workflow of calibration, debayering, alignment, local normalization, integration and drizzle integration. Then on the masterLight I applied ABE, then two DBEs, then color calibration. I removed the stars with starXterminator, and I processed the starless nebular image with Histogram Transformation, Curves transformation, color saturation, MultiscaleLinearTransform to remove chrominance noise. I deconvoluted the stars with BlurExterminator and then HistogramTransformation. Finally I did the rescreening with PixelMath script Luke's rescreening tool.
The stars are deliberately attenuated to highlight the nebular part.
