Description

This is my first Eta Carina for this season, and also the first image I've taken with my new iOptron CEM120 mount an the tripier 360 (very pleased with it so far and looking forward to it's future potential and maybe a larger scope one day).

It's been cloudy. People say this all the time, but here in Brisbane Australia I can vouch it's the cloudiest it's been since 1974... as a result this is just 5h 10m of subs over a couple of partly cloudy nights. from several weeks of solid cloud. I'm planning to revert to a straight flatenner on my APM130 for a bit to see how I guide at lonnger FL so decided now to process and post what I have with the 0.75x reducer... hoping though to do a 9 panel mosaic at FL 780mm of Eta Carina as the season progresses and weather permitting.

This is stacked in APP into S, H and O and recombined and processed in Startools 1.8. Final tweaks in PS CC including the starless version here which is thanks to StarXterminator plugin. I'll keep both versions here... not generally into starless but I kinda like both the same here.
