The 13 or 14 Sisters (M45 with merge error. Used PixelMath on data from 2 scopes but forgot to do StarAlignment on both stacks.
I think it looks a bit like the flag of
the Symbionese Liberation Army. Or the paw print of a
Hemingway Cat.
This was the result of an error when combining images from 2 scopes (250 mm and 488 mm).
So because of computer voodoo, this isn't the 7 sisters, it's the 13 or 14 Sisters. I'm adding stacks from each scope here, not sure what PixelMath did.
Is 2 hours and 8 min total data, half from RedCat 51 (250 mm) and half from doublet 488 mm AstroTech that gives everything a blue halo. I usually use that scope only for Duo filter Ha/OIII in OSC but was testing the EAF I'd just added. All while battling the Moon, hay harvest dust, and trying not to get sprayed by the skunk that hangs out by my AstroHut and tries to eat the cat food on our back porch.
