Description

I continue publishing my oldest pictures with this NGC45 dating from october 2014 and taken with unperfect telescope (C8) and a perfectible ccd camera (QHY9).
NGC45  is quite low (-23°) so it is a  difficult target for an observer located close to +46°N. Moreover, this a  low surface luminosity galaxy and there is a mag 6.9 star in the field (HD941) and a mag 9.9 star, TYC 6413-1094-1)  very close to the galaxy. Its distance is estimated to 25 million light years.
