Description

The Clamshell is an interesting emission nebula about 2200 light years away.  The bright star 68 Cygni ionizes the surrounding gases and looks like a "pearl" in the middle of the shell (yes, although clams technically can make pearls, it seems with it's curvy edges and pretty pearl, this should be named the "Oystershell" :-))
