Description

Mimosa and Ruby Crucis are bright stars in the constellation of the Southern Cross. Mimosa, also known as Beta Crucis, is the second brightest star in the constellation, a blue-white giant composed of two stars. On the other hand, Ruby Crucis, or T Crucis, is a semiregular variable red giant, with a reddish color and luminosity that varies over time. Both are visible in the Southern Hemisphere and stand out in the Southern Cross constellation.
