Description

Image of the Sun's path across the sky from December 20, 2022 to July 2, 2023 (roughly winter solstice 2022 to summer solstice 2023) captured using a '=highlighted-textSolarcan' pinhole camera (see: https://solarcan.co.uk/).  Mounted in a vertical orientation facing south.  I tilted the mounting of this can approximately 20 degrees to vertical compared to my first tries (see:  https://astrob.in/igqdff/0/), but still missed out on the peak sun trails across the sky at summer solstice.  Next time I may mount it at a 45 degree angle...

Processed in Pixinsight:  Inverted, Curves adjustment, local histogram equalization

Original version:  Mounted vertically to house, south facing

Rev B:  Inverted version of the final image (back to the 'original' as capture colors where the sun's trail across the sky is a dark line).
