Description

My 1st Astrophotography Image

I have been watching astrophotography videos for years and finally took the plunge and put it all together and produced my 1st astrophotography image. I decided to start it off easier with M42, The Orion Nebula. I do have experience with normal photography and know the core of M42 is bright so I decided to go with 120, 30-second exposures so the core would not get too much data (Kept 110 images). Processed in Pixinsight with a basic workflow. Used the BlurXTerminator, NoiseXTerminator addons. I was also surprised for a non-cooled, single-shot color, planetary camera the ASI585MC did an amazing job I think.
