Description

Due to the longer weekend, I am able to add a second image within a week, and if I want to get going with the Messier catalog, I better get used to this 😊. 2 new ones with this image, M95 and M105, which is of course nice to have. This brought me to exactly 55 Messier objects that I visited so far, and that is 50%, a little milestone! Which also makes me wonder, wow ... just half of it, there will be quite more to do!

I am actually more and more happy about choosing to go for the whole catalog, I do not think that I would have targeted M95 or even M105, which would have been a shame! M95 shows wonderful details, and even if M105 is one of those "boring" ellipticals, it has with NGC 3389 a great "companion", and a triple galaxy "cluster" is anyway special 😊.

To be able to see those details, I decided as final version to show a zoomed in version of the 3 main targets, and as overlay version B the wide field image, hope you like it, I certainly do 😊.

To boldly go for the next 50% ...

P.S.: Version E shows clouds that showed up while my wife and I were on our daily exercise walk, thought it looked cool, even if all of us are not super fans of clouds 😊.

And one more note: I do not think that I have seen a "bigger" PGC galaxy than PGC 32251 (also named UGC 5897), located at the left edge, middle up. They are usually just little smudges, this one is certainly an exception.
