Based in Queensland, Australia, I've been interested in science and astronomy my whole life, and got my first telescope in 2001.

I started astrophotography in 2006 doing mostly planetary and solar system imaging until 2007 when I thought I'd give deep sky a go. I spent about 2 years learning and building skills, however due to life changes, I had to sell all my equipment except my 8" dobsonian in 2011... I had another rig for about a year in 2015, and then was back to visual only until one day in late 2023, I decided it was time to get back to it.

I built a rig, then it rained.. and rained.. aaaand rained.
