My father was an Amateur Astronomer in KW (Kitchener-Waterloo) Ontario. I grew up with astronomy in the background. I moved from an 8 inch which I gave to my granddaughters to a Orion xx14g Dobsonian with AZ mount. I'm a former college president (pastor) and want to try my hand at photography of the stars. I sold my winery last year and own a number of patents on preserving wine - QikVin Wine Preservation and during the pandemic used my manufacturing plant to create PPE for hospitals and clinics in the US Midwest at no cost. I do not pretend to know anything. My first pictures of space were my iphone mounted to by 2 inch 28mm lens. I also have a 12.5mm lens and a 2 inch barlow to start. I am impressed with your great pictures! Your gift of the right terminology and mathematics intimidate me beyond measure and I am humbled you are willing to share. Baby steps, one picture then another, I hope I don't drown. Peace
