J'ai débuté l'astronomie en 1998 au sein du Groupe Astronomique de Querqueville (Manche) au cours d'un stage "Astro-Pratique". J'avais alors 42 ans et c'est seulement à cet âge que j'ai découvert qu'une galaxie (M31) était visible aux jumelles ! A partir de là j'ai acquis divers matériels jusqu'à une AZEQ6, une lunette ORION 110-660, un télescope Schmidt-Cassegrain Celestron 203-2000.
Je réalise des photographies du ciel profond en plein centre-ville de Cherbourg-en-Cotentin avec un APN Canon EOS 700D défiltré équipé d'un filtre UHC. Je suis aussi adhérent de deux autres club d'astronomie : La Girafe à Caen et Le COCHER à La Chapelle-sur-Erdre près de Nantes. Je suis également adhérent du Club Photo Nord Cotentin Cherbourg.
