Retired from being an engineer and later owning and running a campground. Spent several years touring the country as a full time RVer before settling down in southwestern New Mexico. We now run a short term rental that includes a roll off roof observatory next to the house for guest use under Bortle 1 skies. For non astronomers I will hold personal star parties. Only 350 feet from the rental and roll off is our house, another roll off, and a dome. Between the rental, doing my own astrophotography, and maintaining a Facebook page on Historical Observatories, I manage to stay busy.
