I have been captivated by the cosmos since I was 12 when I received the Edmund Scientific 3" cardboard tube Newtonian with a plastic focuser as a Christmas present in 7th grade. Of course, I wish I still had that telescope, challenging as it was to see much with it.

I was reintroduced to the wonder of the sky when on vacation in the dark skies of Maine in 2015. I joined the local clubs and discovered Star parties.

Now I'm dipping my toes into astrophotography. I plan to post any reasonably serious picture, no matter how imperfect so I can look back in a few years and see how much I will have learned :)

My latest extravagence is a classic Takahashi FC-76 and a bunch of .965 eyepieces.
