Da quando ho 6 anni ho la passione per l'astronomia. Il mio primo telescopio mi è stato regalato all'età di 8 anni, un piccolo rifrattore giocattolo. All'età di 13 anni ho ricevuto in regalo un newton 150/750 e per i 18 anni un C8, che uso tutt'ora.
Faccio parte dell'Associazione Maremmana Studi Astronomici, nella quale ho ricoperto molti ruoli, tra cui: consigliere, direttore scientifico, responsabile strumentazione, vicepresidente, tesoriere e segretario.
Da un anno a questa parte sono passato da un'astronomia puramente visuale, a quella fotografica.
