Hi,
I am a astrophotographer for many years now (almost 20), but i gave up for a long time before coming back very active in astrophotography. I began in 2000 with Starlight Express cameras, then i went to SBIG and now i moved to ZWO cameras, inexpensive and very performant.
My first mount (still in use) is a VIXEN SPDX with a SKYSENSOR 2000pc
And for now i use two different sets up
1) EVOSTAR 72 with reducer achieving 357mm of focal for wide field imaging, on my VIXEN SPDX with SKYSENSOR 2000PC and ASIAIR pro managing all devices, guiding on 50MM scope with ASI224MC, and imaging with both ASI2600MM with EFW 7X36 filters wheels (RGBSHO) and ASI2600MC, ASIAIR pro, EAF focuser .
2) EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC ED127 FCD-1 FD7.5 or FD5.25 with reducer, on LOSMANDY G11 GEMINI 1 REV 4, ASIAIR pro, EAF focuser and same cameras as first setup except ASI mini290mm on 80/400 refractor for guiding.
I’m lucky to live in the french riviera where we have the biggest number of clear nights in France (even with a Bortle 5-6 sky).
Clear Skies
