A keen amateur astronomer, and novice astro-imager, currently on a steep learning curve. I am in the process of upgrading my gear to a set-up that is more suited to astro-imaging and will be embarking on a further learning curve when I switch to a monochrome CCD camera with filters. My interest in astronomy began as a teenager in Macclesfield, Cheshire, and this was rekindled a few years ago when I took early retirement and was able to spend more time pursuing this hobby. My current home is in the village of Weston Turville, near Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire.
