Started astrophotography in 2004 with a 7" Meade LX50, then to a 10" Meade LX200, then a 10" Meade LX200 GPS. None of these telescopes provided me with any decent images, mainly due to mirror flop and focusing. I then purchased a Meade 5000 telescope and had my best results with it. I have a carbon fibre triplet and just getting to grips with an Orion Optics ODK12 and a Skywatcher EQ8-R mount.
