Age 65 (2014), back into astro in 2008.
I built an observatory in 1990 for a 12" reflector.
This had fallen into disuse and needed "fettling".
Started imaging with Canon EOS 350d, 400d, 1000d cameras. Removed the internal filter on four cameras - all worked!
Moved to CCD with Atik383 - lots of trouble, replaced three times, finally sorted but I was dispirited and nearly gave up.
Bought a S/H QSI540WSG, great. Now have the QSI585WSG +++++!
