After a 12-year break, I found my way back to the wonderful hobby of astrophotography in January 2021.
After I used my little setup mobile, I felt the need for a small observatory with a fixed setup. I realised it in September 2021 as a rooftop observatory. A second rooftop observatory followed a year later.
My first double setup is a Gemini G41 with an Edge HD 8" + Reducer 0.7 (Hyperstar is still waiting for it´s turn) with a QHY294M and a Redcat 51 with IMX571C camera for widefiled images.
Second setup is a Gemini G42 with a Skywatcher 8" Quattro Carbon coupled with a Nexus 0.75 Reducer and a Touptek IMX571M camera with the Antlia SHO 4.5nm + LRGB filter.
Unfortunately, I live right in a big city, so my sky is about Bortle 7, which has some disadvantages.
Therefore, I should use my mobile setup - UMI 17 with RAS8" and ASI183MCPro more often...
