Started with astrophotography in December 2020 from my back yard in the greater Denver metro area. I was having creative trouble with my regular photography hobby and decided to point my longer telephoto lenses up one particularly cold and clear night. By complete accident, I caught a decent exposure of M42 in the corner of one frame, figured out what it was, and have been hopelessly addicted to improving my astro images since.
