I got into this amazing hobby in August 2016, without a piece of equipment. Three months later, I'm using an Orion ED80 with a 0.85 dedicated reducer on an AVX mount with an Orion ShortTube 80 refractor and a QHY5L-II-M guide camera. Custom dew heaters and controller, custom flat box, and a D3200 with a black current enable hack. Unfortunately, the D3200 doesn't have an SDK, so no BackyardNikon, hence no dithering.
