Well , I live in the UK very close to the city of Peterborough and have had an interest in Astronomy for as long as I can remember.

Well , I live in the UK very close to the city of Peterborough and have had an interest in Astronomy for as long as I can remember.
It has been only in the last few years that I have taken up Astrophotography.
I have had a lot coaxing and tuition from my friend Carole Pope ( who is also a member of this site and recommended me to join)
I started off with a modified Canon 450D DSLR and now have moved on to imaging with a mono Atik 460EX plus a filter wheel.
I don't pretend to be brilliant at DSI I just enjoy it , some images I have taken are OK to probably a little more OK :)
After a very steep learning curve (it was for me) and Carole guiding me, I have taken my first combined image of the Pleiades and processed it which has bought me to the point of uploading it to AstroBin.
Hopefully as time progresses I will get better at the imaging side of things.
