Life long lover of astronomy but new to the hobby in 2015. Primarily a visual person who enjoys taking some modest photos. Visual astronomy is a such a Zen hobby and passion for me that the goal of these images is simply to validate that I was there, looking up into the heavens.
Also these images represent a merger of two hobbies... I am the astro-head and my wife is the photo-head. She has a great eye matched with an amazing set of editing skills. With some high end gear like her Dikon DF, or the Sigma Art 35mm F/1.4 laying around the house there just isn't an excuses for not plugging this stuff together and seeing what we see!
