I am a 20+ year telecommunications professional, US Army veteran, and photography enthusiast living in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. I was initially attracted to astrophotography by the prospect of capturing comet Neowise, although I was never able to do so! This led to a purchase of a spotting scope, photos of the moon, and being gifted an old Canon T3i by a friend, which furthered my path into astrophotography, as well as landscape photography.
