I have been a visual observer for decades, and slowly getting into astrophotography. Getting an iOptron SkyTracker was the draw, which made it really simply to just put my camera on and start shooting away after a few minutes of polar alignment. I know I have a long way to go in learning more about equipment, shooting, and processing, but it's fun! It's great to share my humble work here on Astrobin.
