I've always been interested in the night sky and in awe of the images shown on The Sky at Night and in magazines. I've decided to test my understanding by studying for a degree (albeit slowly) with UCLAN.

I wouldn't say I have any skill in photography; however, I get the odd lucky shot and have decided to try imaging the night sky. It's been a long road with many mistakes and a steep learning curve, but I feel I have reached the stage where I feel a bit more comfortable with astrophotography, hence why I have joined this community.

I look forward to posting when the clouds allow, and I am open to critique and feedback, which will hopefully help me improve my technique.
