Description

NGC 6992 - The Eastern Veil Nebula The Veil Nebula is a cloud of heated and ionized gas and dust in the constellation Cygnus. It's 2400 light years away and is the remnants of a star 20 times bigger than our Sun that exploded 20,000 years ago. You can't see the nebula with the naked eye but if you could it would be 6 times larger than a full Moon.
