Description

This is another image from my trip to Sedona in June.  I love the interplay of colors and dust in this region.  Obviously it has been photographed a lot, but this was data that I was anxious to get from a dark sky.  I typically image narrowband from my Bortle 7 zone in St. Louis, Missouri, so took advantage of the opportunity to image in Bortle 2/3 skies in Northern Arizona.  The elevation and crisp dry air is also extremely helpful to capturing clean, clear data.

This was also taken with my travel setup with my Takahashi FSQ-106EDX4, ZWO AM5, run by an ASIair for ease of use and speed of setup.  When I am on vacation, I want to be able to setup the scope and start imagining a matter of minutes.  My home setup uses a Paramount MyT, but that's not exactly airline transportable.
