Description

First time to try and capture this planetary nebula and the first time in a while to use my 11" Celestron for deep space.   I think my back focus might be off, but seeing wasn't great and so nor was guiding.  However, this was more of an experiment as I knew the forecast showed I might not have clear skies for very long.

Like a lot of Planetary Nebula, this was a challenge as the core is bright, but the outer nebulosity is very dim, I really struggled to get a decent, non gradient background, but still see the outer nebula.  I wanted to get more time on this, but clouds did rolled in and I was only able to get about 90 minutes of images.    I may try to capture some more data and add some Ha as there are two bright patches on either side of the nebula that are small emission regions and known as Fliers.  I could not pull out the red from the little bit of data I captured, so maybe adding some Ha would help.
