Description

The Veil nebula or Cygnus Loop is a supernova remnant from a star that exploded 10,000 to 20,000 years ago and is about 2400 ly distant in the Milky Way.
For this rendering I tried H-alpha as red, Sulphur II as yellow, and Oxygen III as cyan.

There are threads in OIII, H-alpha, and in SII.  This is new to me.

Since nearly all the stars have been removed by the tool  in AstroPixelProcessor this field did not plate-solve.  The lack of stars did, however bring out the fine threads.
