Description

Quite after a while, I reactivated my FSQ-85 ED in order to take images of the well known Lion Nebula in the constellation Cepheus, the mythological king. Because of my high latitude location, nights were still short, anyway the almost full moon was far away from Cepheus, so I used the time for narrowband imaging in H alpha, [OIII] and [SII]. Centering of the Sharpless nebula was a bit off to the East because I wanted to have the young Planetary Nebula G101.5-00.6 (discovery was reported in 2009 if I am correct) in the field. It is the small blue ellipse on the lower right side of the image. Blue, because its emission is strongest in the [OIII] lines.
