To add to my trio of "autumn" series of Southern spectacular galaxies (see also M83 and Cen A), here are the Antennae, again obtained via a Trans-Pacific observing campaign. On this occasion, however, my 2022 RGB imaging session at Speargrass Flat observatory was taken is really awful seeing (6+ arcsec) and so I resorted to data taken with my RC8 over a year ago.
L: 17 x 600sec, Chilescopes, ASA 500.
RGB: 60 x 120sec each, Speargrass Flat, RC8
These series of three images demonstrate the power of combining good seeing L images from a remote observatory like Chilescopes with RGB data taken at less good sites.
