Description

Clear, New Moon, unexpectedly good seeing  (my FWHM 2.1") for my area in North Kansas = perfect time to try give M45 another run. I used PSF and  deconvolution on a pseudo luminance layer and sharpened this layer while leaving the color data along. I was able to get more definition and as well as more faint dust. Unfortunately one  of the cords to my camera on the RASA cause a not perpendicular vertical diffraction spike. Annoying, but still a good improvement from my standpoint compared to last years version (https://www.astrobin.com/2to2jr/)

M 45 Pleiades open cluster. This Collection of young, large, fast burning stars, is easily visible in the night sky unaided. The young stars area surrounded interstellar dust and debris that is reflecting their light as seen by the swirling reflection nebula.

The cluster is approximately 440 light years from earth and measures 8 light years across its core cluster of stars.
