Description

This tiny object, also known as UGC 8058, is located 0.6 billion light years away in the constellation of Ursa Major at a declination of +57 degrees.  It is a magnitude 14 Seyfert galaxy.  

The main disk spans 30 arc-seconds in our apparent view, which corresponds to a diameter of 90,000 light years.  The star streams span 300,000 light years.

This object looks somewhat like NGC 7130:
