Flaming Star, Tadpoles and Spider Nebulae IC405, IC410, IC417

www.flickr.com/photos/terryhancock/27181514554/in/datepos...I was not happy with my original process of this, in my opinion it was over saturated, over processed, too much contrast and clipped to the black point in some of the dark nebulous regions.
This time around and for my first time I used Pixinsight for Pre Processing, "Thanks to the guidance and one on one tutorials by Kim Quick"
I am not sure if I can say that it helped or improved this image but in the final analysis I have tried to keep the image looking as natural as possible and this is only my opinion which is not necessarily correct. .
Also known as IC405 and Caldwell 31, lying at a distance of approximately 1500 light years from us in the constellation Auriga this object is a combination of emission and reflection Nebulae.
Also visible towards the bottom centre in this image is IC410 known as The Tadpoles lying at a much further distance of 12,000 light years, this faint Emission Nebula is energized by the neighboring Star Cluster NGC1893, far left in the image is emission Nebula and open cluster often referred to as The Spider Nebula IC417 at 10,000 light years distant.
