Description

This busy expanse of our Milky Way is in the northern portion of Cygnus, the swan. The brightest star is Deneb, to the left of Deneb is the North America Nebula. To the lower right of Deneb is another prominent star, Sadr. Sadr's surrounding nebulae are collectively referred to as the Sadr Region or Gamma Cygni Nebula. Numerous other nebulae and clusters are also present. Total exposure time: 229.2 seconds.
