Description

Until quite recently, amateur astrophotographers showed pictures of our galaxy's Intergrated Flux Nebula almost exclusively photographing the northern hemisphere pole region of our sky. The IFN is clearly visible there and makes for striking environments for galaxies M81 and M82. But there are other regions in other parts of the sky that are just as interesting. An example is the area in the lower part of the constellation Pegasus around the galaxy NGC 7497 and the nearby nebula Sh2-73, probably incorrectly classified by Sharpless in his catalog.
