Description

IC 1396 is a large emission nebula in Cepheus, sometimes called "Norther Rosette Nebula" because of its similarity to NGC 2244. Elephant's Trunk Nebula (IC 1396A) is inside (bottom center).
Used Pixinisight NarrowbandNormalization to process dual narrowband filter image.
~ ASI533MC Pro, SVBony SV220 dual narrowband filter
~ Samyang 135mm f/2
~ Captured and stacked using ASIAir Plus
~ 30, 180 second light frames with flats and bias
~ ZWO AM3 mount, guided, dithered
~ Processed in Pixinsight, Lightroom, Photoshop
