Description

Object: NGC2264 (The Cone Nebula & The Christmas Tree Cluster) (2012)
Located in the constellation Monoceros, NGC2264 is comprised of The Cone Nebula and The Christmas Tree Cluster. It is roughly 2600 light years away. The Cone Nebula the “V” shaped emission complex appears right center of the picture with The Christmas Tree Cluster to its left in the center.
