SH2-155, also known as the Cave Nebula, is a diffuse nebula situated 2400 light years away in the constellation of Cepheus. It is a an ionised HII region with ongoing star formation activity. The name Cave Nebula was first applied to this object by Sir Patrick Moore, before that the name had been used to describe a different reflection nebula in Cepheus, Ced 201.
